The Center for Psychological Services at George Mason University offers a variety of consultation services to members of the Mason community as well as to individuals in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Consultations are primarily provided by clinical psychology and school psychology graduate students under the supervision of appropriately credentialed doctoral level professionals.
A mental health evaluation is a brief diagnostic assessment of current level of functioning with appropriate recommendations.
The total fee for service depends upon the type of consultation service being provided and the duration of the service. Most consultations require two direct service appointment times, including a feedback appointment, and at least one hour of time for report writing.
